Objective of the bank
Main objective of SEWA BANK is to help poor self-employed women to come out of the vicious cycle of poverty and help them to build their businesses, capital, assets and help them to improve their living conditions. Thus, SEWA Bank essentially follows the Savings-led model of microfinance.
SEWA Bank has taken Life-Cycle need approach to design and develop loan products catering to a range of financial needs of its poor women members.
